Sichuan China May 2014

Hope everyone is enjoying the festive season and getting in some birding, After a very tumultuous year I have finally managed to get around to completing a trip-report of one of the years ‘highlights’, an eleven-day trip in May to *Sichuan* in China with a group of birding-friends from Singapore. The main purpose of the trip was to search for ‘endangered’ pheasants and we did see most available and got a general count of around 240. The report is on my main website and is probably very ‘bandwith-hungry’ due to the many images but I hope you will enjoy a summary of a current birding ‘hotspot’. If anyone is interested I’m considering returning next year and looking for a couple of birders to join me and relive the experience, please contact me off-list Regards, Tom — ******************************** Tom Tarrant Hawthorn East 3123 Victoria http://www.aviceda.org ********************************
