seawatch fort drive Newcastle

Hi all spent a total of just under 5 hours doing seawatch at fort drive today only really the first hour was really exciting species and numbers are below. also i spotted a shearwater/petrel that i couldnt identify it had mostly white underwing, evenly brown above and a darker head almost black continuing down under the beak to the breast. Masked Booby – 1 White-necked Petrel – 2 Lesser Frigatebird – 2 possible 3rd Buller’s Shearwater – 1 possible 2nd Great Shearwater – 1 Streaked Shearwater – 2 Pomarine Jaeger – 4 Sooty Tern – 8 Common Tern – 30+ Short-tailed Shearwater – 100+ Wedge-tailed Shearwater – 2000+ fluttering type shearwater – 10+ Sooty Oystercatcher – 26   Thanks Robert McDonald ===============================
