satin flycatcher, fairy gerygone on sunshine coast

Today I had a male Satin Flycatcher on the beach at Twin Waters on the Sunshine Coast. This species is a scarce passage migrant in southeast Queensland, with most birds apparently migrating south along the western slope of the Great Divide. However, some birds, like the one today, appear to hug the coastline on their southward sojourn. Also in the vine scrub at the beach today were at least three pairs of singing Fairy Gerygones, one of which was sharing a territory with a pair of Mangrove Gerygones.
