RFI Whooey Tank at Round Hill

Urgent request for good directions to Whooey Tank coming from Lake Cargelligo. We got to the “old wheatfield” today and had good sightings of Southern Scrub-robin and Western Gerygone among several others but we were a bit late in the day. We are at Lake Cargelligo for a couple more days and the only directions I can find are a bit confusing.

Any help appreciated.

The track runs off a section of “white gravel” (most of the road is red dirt), so go a bit slower when you hit that stuff and keep an eye out.

    Hi Bob

Travelling north from LC, towards the Wheat Field on the straight road through Nombinnie Nature Reserve, there is a very small track (quite easy to miss) about 2kms south of the track to the wheat-field leading off the the right (east). This leads to Whoey Tank.

    Good luck! Josh
