A request for those people who have ever visited French Island in Western Port Victoria.
Geoff Lacey, Des Quinn and myself are compiling all bird records for this island and publish the results.
At this stage we have most of what has been published in The Bird Observer plus records from Friends of French Island National Park.
For those of you who have ANY records that haven’t been atlassed (Birds Australia or the DSE Atlas) I’m keen to hear from you.
Minimum information is –
Date: Specific Location: Species: Number observed:
Also, if you know anyone who may have bird records for the island then we’d also like to hear from you.
Our plan is to publish this in Australian Field Ornithology.
