RFI Eaglehawk Neck pelagics

G’day everyone, I was just wondering who usually organises the Eaglehawk Neck pelagic trips and whether I could get contact details for them (there seem to be various names listed on the old reports) as I’d like to get in touch with them Also, does anyone know if/when any trips are planned for later in the year? Cheers,John ===============================

    G’day John et al.

A few different people organise pelagics out of Eaglehawk Neck, mostly all using the same boat. James Melville/Paul Brooks/Jeremy O’Wheel have organised some local ones, and Rohan Clark has organised some from interstate. MOst of these are advertised in advance through Birding-Aus, so you have to keep an eye out for one and jump in (spaces are often limited by the time there is any advertising). Another approach is to watch for someone organising one, make contact with them, and see if they can keep you in mind for pre-notification of further upcoming ones.

Hope that’s helpful, John Tongue Ulverstone, Tas.
