Request for Information: Plains-wanderer

I am certain this question comes up frequently, but I would appreciate any advice and how to seek Plains-wanderer during end of May. I am aware of Phil Maher’s tours, but was wondering whether there are other options with other guides or preferably indpendently for example at Terrick Terrick NP, I would appreciate any advice. We are planning a 2.5 month trip so I will have many more questions, any general advice or help would be greatly appreciated.
