Hello everyone Can i start off by thanking everyone who contacted me about my enquiry about 4 weeks ago regarding the Spotted Quail-thrush. The responses were overwhelming and i greatly appreciate all advice given which eventually lead me to success in photographing this magnificent bird. But i need your help again! I will be in Sydney on saturday and i was hoping i could get some information about where i could locate the Red-whiskered Bulbul and if there were any special things i should look for. Again thanks everyone. I regularly see them in Paddington, Sydney on Underwood, Union and Broughton Streets. They always seem to be in the Lemon tree on Broughton Street which is where Union Street starts. Silvereyes can be common in the area also. Tarban Creek, near Hunters Hill is fairly reliable for them too. Closer to the CBD you might see them in the leafiest parts of Surrey Hills/Chippendale more likely in Glebe e.g. the Toxteth Estate accessible by the Jubilee Park Light Rail Station, bus or even walking from CBD.
