Having watched the first episode I am disappointed at how fake parts of Earth flight looks. Obviously they haven’t hired very small, very light weight cameramen to ride on the backs of flying birds so why shake the camera??

I found the “Goose-cam” shots brilliant, especially those at landing.

Actually they’ve strapped very small, very light weight, remote cameras to the back of birds. Think of a mobile phone, without a display or keypad. The cameras are much lower quality than the ones not strapped to birds (if you can get a blue ray/ HD version, this is particularly noticeable), so perhaps that’s why you think it’s fake.
