My previous post was sent without reading your post properly and doing a quick search on the net. On reading your words properly I agree that they are not Shaft-tailed Finches. On a previous occasion I thought that they may have been White-throated Jays with a bit of artistic licence. I am more than happy for you to wade through HBBW and to let me know the results of your findings. I want my grandson to ID his birds correctly!!
