A question to Canberra birders: Hi,
Is the Koel common or otherwise in Canberra?
Just had a call from a friend in Fisher, ACT, asking me to identify the call of a bird that’s new to them (they aren’t birders, but know the birds in their suburb). It was a Common Koel, and they said they have never heard it before.
Would someone enlighten me, please?
