A friend was at Halls Creek last week and saw two parrots that he thinks were probably Princess Parrots. While not a confirmed record, I thought I should pass the report on in case anyone else is in the area.
It was at a spot called the China Wall (turnoff is about 6km out of town on Duncan Road). From the carpark at the end of the road he followed a rocky track up over the hill for about 1.5km until things flattened out and there was more vegetation, and the birds were flushed in this area. He also mentioned it was about 47 degrees at the time.
