I have a unconfirmed report of a Topknot Pigeon at Gerringong South Coast NSW banded on right leg with blue over white bands. The information is second hand and not from a Birder. Does anyone have any knowledge of banding projects involving this species.

Did you make sure that the person really meant “Topknot Pigeon” and not “Crested Pigeon”?
(Crested Pigeons are frequently erroneously – and confusingly – called “Topknot Pigeons”)
