Hello Bill Yes, the app will work on an iPod Touch with iOS5 or later as the operating system. The app is fully functional, including GPS for adding locations to your bird sightings. You can also use My Location to get a bird list for your current GPS location. Regional bird lists and birding site lists are also available. The only thing that requires an online connection is the background map, which can be preloaded if you have a wifi connection.
