Pilbara trip report

Hello

I spent three weeks in the Pilbara in May, the first time I¹d been to the area. One of my hopes was to see the four Pilbara subspecies, in particular the Pilbara striated grasswren. With only one bird seen, this subspecies is scarce, certainly in the areas I visited. The Pilbara is not unlike parts of the Gulf Country in Queensland although more rugged; it¹s a fascinating bit of country. There¹s a trip report at http://www.philipmaher.com/Pilbaratripreport.html
