Skulls, ear tufts, and livers are frequently used for their supposedly magical properties. Urge the Ministry of Environment and Forests to curb the illegal owl trade and put a stop to this cruel practice. Owls are extremely important in controlling the population of rats and insects, especially in agrarian communities. India has outlawed the owl trade, but the laws are clearly not being enforced.
