Sorry – Carl is correct. The link I provided came from birdforum.net and was for the USA store. Go to the Australian app store from iTunes or your iPhone etc and it will work – but not for much longer I suspect!

I have just tried to download the Peterson Guide using the link Steve provided, but was knocked back by a dialogue box saying that it is not available via the Australian App Store.

Tried again using the app store app that came with my iPad and it appears to be downloading OK.

So, if you get a knock-back via the link, try via the App Store.

    Cheers,

    Carl Clifford

    Hi all,

At this price it is worth downloading even if you never go to the US because the US field guides are not necessarily just for the US.

If you want an e-guide field guide for migratory waders etc to supplement the Morecombe e-guide the US ones are good because they show different plumage stages and views.

    cheers
