Pacific Gull plumages

Hi all,

I’ve been digging around for information on the plumages of Pacific Gulls as I’ve got photos of various juveniles/immatures, but I can’t find a good way of aging them. Does anyone know of any papers or guides with anything more detailed than what the common guide books have? It’s another strength of the Collins guide to Europe which would be a welcome thing to see in the new CSIRO guide. Cheers,

    G’day Tony,

Pacific Gulls are one of my pet favourites. Can you send me as many images is you want and I will add age into the file name for you, you will get the hang of it yourself from that, how many different individuals have you photographed. Pac Gull has already been illustrated for the CSIRO Guide and I have covered all of the age classes and ssp. Location and especially date for each image would be good.

    Cheers Jeff Davies.
