g’Day all
Tonight at about 1715 hr. an Osprey carrying a large fish was flying above the mangroves near the saltworks eastern boundary adjacent to Price Creek. I was able to obtain adequate photographs. Not sure of its recent status but in nearly 40 years of casual observations here, this is new for my Yorke Peninsula list. In the 1990s Osprey were seen regularly on Eyre Peninsula at Port Lincoln and Coffin Bay.

Nice sighting Ian! Never seen one that far up the Gulf! There are a few on Yorke Peninsula though! down around the foot of the Peninsula they are more common! I have seen pairs at both Stenhouse Bay and around on the western side at Gleesons Landing.CheersChris Steeles
