In October friends from overseas (USA and Germany) will be visiting us. Although we were originally planning to fly into Cairns and drive up to Cape York, I changed my mind and would like to travel with them into the (currently not so) dry outback to enjoy this rare POST-rain phenomenon. I was thinking of a similar trip to Paul’s. Is there any experience out there how things may change (both birds and weather) over the coming five weeks (we would be there in the first two weeks of October)?
