One of the Rarest Wild Birds Photographed in the Wild

I have fairly low expectations when it comes to finding unusual birds, so it took me by complete surprise when I saw and photographed a bird that I knew was in the area but in my mind I thought, because it was so critically endangered, almost extinct, that it would be so out of the question to even think of seeing one… well we can always be wrong…
