Bill,
looking at field guides, there’s really only one possibility apart from house mouse for your location, a New Holland Mouse, which has a bi coloured tail (dark on top surface, pinkish below) and tail >head/body. A house mouse is supposed to have a tail = or slightly> head/body. The tail on this one looks quite long but it is in quite a hunched posture. On balance likely to be a house mouse.
