How are your NT bird-calls?, I’m currently analysing some audio from near the manganese mine on Groote Eylandte (approx -14.0730, 136.4617) and came across a clear repetitive ringing call, which is repeated twice on the segment that I’ve posted on Xeno Canto I wonder if it’s a Broad-billed Flycatcher, but that’s just a guess…..there is also a Lemon-bellied Flycatcher calling through the segment. The call strikes me as being a little different from Broad-billed Flycatcher around Darwin – not as rich. Perhaps the bird has a regional accent! hi Tom, I would normally consider myself as pretty good ID-ing bird calls, but I’ve got to admit that I’ve found myself stumped twice n one day!!!
