Thankyou Jenny for that amazing documented overview and sightings of the Amazing Princess Parrot… I was green with jealousy just reading it..but…just not able to make it out there in time….we are house sitting in alice springs in 5-6 weeks time, and when i heard about all the sightings at newhaven, i thought…i MUST get to this place…i don’t doubt that the other birds at newhaven will be amazing to behold too…but…i doubt the parrots will be there when i get there….but if they nest there like you say COULD be a possibility…i may be in luck Do they allow self guided tours when you get there, now that the volunteers arn’t there anymore??
