Mystery Bird From The Pilbara

Not so much a mystery bird this time as probably one not seen too often by most birdwatchers.

Thanks for all the replies to Mystery Bird number one and especially the reasons for the i.d. Consensus seems to be a Flycatcher and the Leaden is favourite; but I kind of like the robin choice as to me it has the overall cute appearance of a robin; but not the Pink Robin as suggested by Brian but perhaps the male Rose… anyway, anyway it’s still a mystery to me albeit a narrowed down mystery.

This week’s bird is found along parts of the northern Australian coast particularly (and probably always) where there are mangroves. Please add your replies in the comments section of the blog rather than replying to this email…
