Stephen Ambrose mentioned “Often these birding-aus reports are the first public records of those observations.”
I was amazed years ago when the authors of HANZAB asked to reference some posts I had made to birding-aus about nesting Grey-fronted Honeyeaters outside my office at the Argyle Diamond Mine in the Kimberley. I don’t have the volume of HANZAB ready to hand to see how this is referenced.
So please keep submitting small (or longer) posts about bird behaviour of any form. Even if people don’t read it 😉 it will be available for people searching for that type of information, as all birding-aus posts are kept on archive.
