Mt Glorious walks

Hi birders

I hope to be visiting Brisbane in about a month’s time and one place I am particularly interested in is the Mt Glorious area as it appears to harbor quite a few species that would be new species for me to admire and hopefully photograph. I found oodles of info on the net about this park etc, but I am not able to find exactly where the walks start (even from Qld parks sites) and how to get to them except that there is a place called Maiala for walks like Greenes Falls, Cypress Grove track and Rainforest Circuit. There are a number of birds I hope to locate such as Logrunner, Pale-yellow Robin, Regent and Satin Bowerbirds, Sooty Owl (ambitious I know), Southern Boobook, Marbled Frogmouth (another big wish), Noisy Pitta, Wompoo Fruit Dove, Russet-tailed Thrush, Paradise Riflebird, Green Catbird, Large-billed Scrub-Wren, Yellow-throated Scrubwren and Topknot Pigeon as well as Pied Butcherbird. Does anyone know where exactly the above mentioned tracks start?

I also plan on spending a full night on the mountain spotlighting for various nocturnal animals. So if any kind person has any leads they would not mind sharing (even off the list) with a very responsible person then I would sincerely appreciate the info and perhaps someday I would be able to happily reciprocate the kind help.

Many thanks for any help (and big thanks already to Colin Reid, Tom Tarrant and David Taylor). Akos
