White-fronted Honeyeater in the same location at Minnippi – observed well around 4pm Wednesday.
There was a juvenile Brown Honeyeater in the same flowering shrub for most of the time

The White-fronted Honeyeater was still there this morning – thanks for posting the original sightings Colin et al. I arrived at around 9am and had missed it by 5 minutes. After a 30-45 minute wait I got really great views – good enough to see the small red wattle behind the eye as it flew low into a melaleuca shrub and stayed a while enjoying the nectar from the flowers – the shrub was to the right of the entrance of the walking trail that is within that patch of bush and almost adjacent to the #269 gas box. Thanks again for the co-ordinates too which made it easy to locate.
