Hi Friends, I must apologise in little progress on my website has appeared over the last three months. The bulbar-onset motor neruron disease is taking a dreadful toll on me. By the start of September, I had lost all ability to produce intelligible speech, and 95% of the my swallowing. I had to spend 7 weeks in hospital recently, because my inability to swallow liquids led to major bowel problems. Ieventually had four operations, and had to endure aspirational pneumonia. I know get virtually all my food and liquids through a PEG (percutaneous endoscopic gastronomy).. Simply walking past any shop selling or serving food is a form of torture. I am working flat-out to get my new family List implemented. I’ll keep going for as long as I can.
