Major Mitchell Cockatoos in NSW

Written by

Hi

On Monday evening I saw 7 Major Mitchell Cokatoos flying over the West Wyalong Caravan Park (33 55 28 / 147 12’37).

I thought this may be a little on the edge of their range. Any suggestions or can they be expected in this area?

Happy birding

Marlene.

Just over a week ago, Michael and I saw a pair 65 km east of Three Ways, along the Barkly Highway. They were in a small paperbark. Denise
