Little Eagles taking insects in flight

G’day all

I was in Ouyen, Victoria for the weekend and watched a pair of Little
Eagles tightly soaring over the town on Friday afternoon. I couldn’t see
what they were catching but several times saw them eating something small
from their claws. I assume they were catching insects of some sort.
HANZAB reports Little Eagles taking insects on the ground but explicitly
states they are not known to take insects in flight.

Anyone else seen this?

Cheers
