Leaving message for visit to Werribee

I’ve just rung the number to leave a message re visiting Werribee tomorrow and it wasn’t the usual one from Tracey. It was a bit odd so I wondered if anyone else has tried to leave one over the last few days and had the same experience.

    Hi all,

It has been happening quite regularly over the past few weeks. My guess is that the voice recorder is being filled over the holidays and the line is then diverting to who knows where. Over three visit bookings in the last 2 weeks I have had a strange voice that sounded like a private line, a beep and then silence as if the recorder had started without giving a message and then, earlier today, the proper WTP message.

    cheers

    Jen

Incidentally it is possible to book in now by emailing (with the usual details) birdwatching@melbournewater.com.au

    Hi Sonja,

I too have experienced this a few times lately. It happened twice over the last fortnight, then I got through okay on Friday so thought it was an anomaly, but then it happened again today. I tried several times then gave up.

I’ll try again tomorrow and mention it to Tracey if I can.

    Kind regards,

    Steve Davidson
