Hi,
Due to lack of internet connection, we’ve been slow to upload for a day or two. We’ve also been busy out and about. The latest (as promised) is from Mareeba Wetlands and features the bathroom quoll plus the regional endemic Black-throated Finches. We spent a great time at Jabiru Safari Lodge and went out with their guide “Chuck” (pronounced ‘chook’).

More to come … day time feeding Tree Kangaroos, Sarus Cranes, Amethystine Pythons, Golden Bowebird (at the bower) and sunrise over the rainforest. The information I’m putting together here is just a teaser. I will be putting together 8-10 short edited pieces about the locations and the birds in the next couple of weeks. None of this would have been possible of course, without the dedication and knowledge of our Australian bird and wildlife guides. I can’t tell you how much value they add to our birding community.
Regards,
Simon Mustoe.
