1) Intermediate Egret still present on its favorite grassy island next to Picnic Cove

8+) Marsh Harriers 1) Whistling Kite 1) Brown Goshawk 2) Australian Hobby

1) Intermediate Egret still on its favorite grassy island next to Picnic Cove

12) Glossy Ibis (3+ Streaked Juveniles) 75) Straw-necked Ibis 30+) White Ibis 30) yellow-billed Spoonbill

12+) Pink-eared Ducks (some displaying going on) 11) very young Hardheads

(1) man on a canoe flushing everything…)

Both days:

10-30+) Nankeen Night Herons (plenty of juveniles) 100+) Great Egrets Little Black and Little Pied Cormorants Hoary-headed and Austr. Little Grebes

5,000+ waterfowl (Pacific Black Ducks, Grey Teal, Austr. Shoveler, Austr. Shelduck, Hardhead, Blue-billed Ducks, Musk Ducks). Pacific Black Ducks and Grey Teal ducklings.
