A bit of a mixed bag here. I have received an unconfirmed report of a Kelp Gull over the past couple of days at Inskip Point. Please keep your eyes out if you are up that way. Meanwhile, there now appears to be a pair of Australian Little Bittern at Parklands Wetlands (http://tinyurl.com/pwpzcpb) and these birds are providing unusually close encounters. It seems the big influx of Black Kite that turned up on the Sunshine Coast about 15 months ago is here to stay. Is this experience being repeated elsewhere?
