A friend sent me these photos of an eagle he photographed in Nerrandera. It is clearly a wedge-tail to my view but the markings and coloration seem quite strange. Yea Looks like a White-bellied S-E in all details even the slightly longer section of exposed tarsus. I agree with Peter. We have seen several adults well inland in NSW & Vic recently.
