I-Phone and I-Pad

I would be interested in the experiences of people using smart phones for playing bird calls. I have found that attached to my I-Phone 6+, small speakers (both wireless Bluetooth and wired) make little difference to volume. (I have not tried a large speaker as I don’t want to lug one around in the bush anyway.) By comparison, the volume from a speaker attached to my I-Pad is substantially louder.
