Guide to HANZAB volumes – I now have finished one

I now have finished my (page referenced) one page Guide to HANZAB volumes. Hopefully with no typos, I’m a reasonable though not perfect typist. It shows formatted nicely on MS Word on my computer but hard to predict if that will remain on someone else’s computer. I can send it as a pdf too which should retain formatting. I will send it out to all those who have requested it (already or in future – I hope). Although soon I will be away for 3 weeks, so be patient if it looks like I’ve missed you. It was originally done by Jack Moorhead and so includes some of his ideas as to groups. I have changed it quite a lot from that, so it contains 2 sets of ideas. I know birdos can be quite pedantic (including myself at times) but this is designed just to be useful, within the realms of fitting one page, it is not possible to be absolutely complete and accurate. Thus many obscure groups are not mentioned. Some combinations are together because they are small groups and some splits made purely because that is the way I think of them (like honeyeaters are separated from chats). Even with that effort it still requires basic bird group knowledge, such as that e.g. Emu-wrens are part of “Fairy-wrens, etc” in V5, not part of “Heathwrens, etc” in V6. Anyway anyone can choose to amend as they wish. Philip
