Hi again, I’ve now been sent a photo of a dark-hooded gull that has apparently been hanging round Cervantes for the past 6-8 weeks. I’m not an expert, but I agree with the photographer (Brendan Kinsella) that it’s a Franklin’s Gull. Again, have asked permission to post the photo, plus hopefully some more details on location Cheers,John ===============================
