Hi all, How ‘straightforward’ (or otherwise?) is Eungella Honeyeater?
We are hoping to add a ‘detour’ to a SE-Qld birding trip in July to try to see this species, and are wondering how much time we would need to add to the trip.
If we stayed one night in Eungella, and had part of the day either side of that, would that seem reasonable? My thinking is that, with such a restricted range, if we didn’t get onto them in two half-days, would we be any more likely to by adding an extra day? (as always, the time is short, and the proposed itinerary is long).
Thanks in advance for all helpful advice.
Cheers, John Tongue Ulverstone, Tas.
