Dattuck track, Wyperfeld

Hi all, just back from a couple of days getting blown around Wyperfeld. No
really amazing birds to report, but I did take the opportunity to walk the
length of Dattuck track from North-South track to Cambacanya track, in
search of Mallee Emu-wrens. To be honest, the habitat looked better in the
western end of Dattuck track, near the Eastern Lookout (still dipped, of
course).

I did get three Shy Heathwren about half way along Dattuck track, near where
it does that zigzag route through the dunes. There were possible more, but
I only saw three at one time. No time for a photo, of course, they hopped
off.
