Darwin Shearwater.

Hi All, Pete Kyne, these days based in Darwin has asked me to post this to Birding-Aus for him. Early on last Friday evening near Stoke’s Hill Wharf in Darwin Harbour a Short-tailed Shearwater was photographed both on the water and in flight (I and others have seen the shots), subsequently not seen since. Not a species one would normally expect to see in the Top End. The record will be written up and submitted to the journal, ‘Northern Territory Naturalist’. Cheers – Paul W.
