Does anyone have a copy of this book they would be willing to lend me, or sell me. It seems to be out of print.
I am going to Bali in July, and I have a copy of MacKillon and Phillipps, but I can’t find a number of species on a Bali list using IOC species inb that guide (I suspect several have been split from mor widespread spp since MacKillon and Phillipps published. I am hoping Tilford is more up to date with his names.
John although it is not restricted to those three islands, The 2nd Edition of “A Photographic Guide to the Birds of Indonesia”, by Morten Strange, was published late last year – that may be of some assistance. I bought mine at the airport bookshop in Jogjakarta and they seemed to be in other airport bookshops too so you may be able to pick one up in transit. I would offer mine but I need it in 2 weeks for my own short work related trip to the islands of Sumatra. Cheers Tom Wilson
