Children’s field guide – Perth and environs

Can anyone recommend a field guide (or other book) covering birds of the Perth area (+ south-west WA?) suitable for younger children. My aunt wants to buy one for her grandchildren, who are showing an interest in birds. I am surprised that no one has suggested HANZAB or HBW although I am not sure if the latter would have too many species from outside the region. owen. I have seen the small nature books for sale at a few National Park sites and you can see them off the DPAW Website http://www2.dec.wa.gov.au/component/page,shop.product_details/flypage,shop.dec/product_id,28/category_id,1/option,com_virtuemart/Itemid,2526/ There is one for backyard Birds that seems to be WA based. They would probably be suitable for a child and a reasonable cost – not a field guide though.
