Channel-billed Cuckoo in Daintree (was Sydney)

Further to this discussion, I was in Daintree for a few days last week and a CBC was squawking its head off there one afternoon. Being mid-year, I couldn’t work out if it was very early or very late in either arriving or departing. Daintree, of course, is far closer to their usual wintering grounds than Sydney…
