If there are any real keen collectors I have a complete set of Bird Observer magazines going back to 1968. That and a few spare Wingspans and Australian Birdlife magazines, and an unbroken set of the Victorian Naturalist (journal of the Field Naturalists Club of Victoria) from 1968 to 2016.

Warriewood Wetlands/Irrawong Reserve (Sydney northern beaches) – flowering Swamp Mahogany

Cuckoo-dove

There was a Brown Cuckoo-dove at the backyard wild bird feeder during this morning’s drizzle in Mulgoa Valley. Unusual down in the Valley itself, more frequent but still uncommon near the National Park at the top of Mayfair Drive but only seen around here by me in wet weather.
