BoP identification

Late to this thread, but having some interest in this topic the photo looks like a Red Bird of Paradise, presumably an immature male as it has those head bumps.They can take up to 5 years to get into adult plumage. The species is endemic to just two West Papuan islands, Waigeo and Batanta. Trade in BoP’s is a real worry and a possible serious conservation threat of course.
