Black-necked Stork sighting, SE Queensland

Had a pair of Black-necked Stork feeding in some casual water yesterday a few km west of Beaudesert, at the corner of Sandy Creek Rd. Always love to see these majestic creatures – this was quite a surprise as I was heading back from Boonah to the Gold Coast. To complete the spectacle, a White-bellied Sea-eagle flew into the large gum tree overhead while I was observing.
