I have found a pair of Black Falcons nesting in the Lockyer Valley west of Brisbane. This is a rare species in south-east Queensland with few breeding records. Other raptors seen included several Spotted Harriers. One response to “black falcon nesting in lockyer valley”
Seeing Black Falcon in SEQ is a scarce occurence but nesting very rare indeed. Theres been a pair hanging around the Lake Clarendon area off and on for some time so its probably those birds. Nice work. cheers David Taylor On 08/08/2013, at 6:34 PM, Greg Roberts wrote: David and Marg Taylor Brisbane =============================== To unsubscribe from this mailing list, send the message: unsubscribe (in the body of the message, with no Subject line) http://birding-aus.org ===============================
