Central Tablelands Birdwatching Tours operates bird watching day trips, weekends and night tours for anyone interested in exploring the birding paradise that is the Central Tablelands of New South Wales, Australia. Trips are custom tailored to the clients desires and may include visits to the Capertee Valley, Munghorn Gap and a selection of the Central Tableland’s birding secrets. Each tour will be tailored to the individual/group and will be structured around what birds species the attendees most desire to see. It is is not unusual to see around 150 bird species of birds in one weekend in the Central Tablelands. Local specialties of the region include: Regent Honeyeater, Rockwarbler, Painted Honeyeater, Diamond Firetail, Turquoise Parrot, Gang Gang Cockatoo, Speckled Warbler, Southern Whiteface, Plum-headed Finch, Hooded Robin, Red-capped Robin, Red-browed Treecreeper, Brown Treecreeper, Glossy Black Cockatoo, Powerful Owl, Superb Lyrebird and many more. Tours typically leave on Saturday morning and can finish the same day or extend to the following Sunday evening, Specialty nocturnal tours can be arranged in order to see the amazing Powerful Owl, the largest owl species in Australia.
